Description
Arrow Sky Publisher connects a WordPress site to a Bluesky account using secure OAuth and lets an authorised WordPress user publish standard WordPress Posts to that connected Bluesky account.
The plugin is fully functional as distributed on WordPress.org. It provides:
- Secure OAuth connection to a Bluesky account.
- Manual one-at-a-time publishing of published WordPress Posts.
- WordPress title, excerpt and permalink in the generated Bluesky post.
- Duplicate protection using the Bluesky AT URI returned after publishing.
- A Bluesky status panel in the WordPress Post editor.
- A Bluesky status column in the WordPress Posts list.
- A connection test and disconnect control.

This plugin relies on external services to connect a Bluesky account and publish content.
Arrow Design Bluesky OAuth broker
The plugin connects to the Arrow Design broker at:

The broker is required to perform the AT Protocol / Bluesky OAuth flow and to make authenticated publishing requests on behalf of the connected user.
When a connection is started, the plugin sends the WordPress site URL, site name, the Bluesky handle entered by the administrator, the WordPress callback URL, and a random OAuth state value to the Arrow Design broker.
After authorisation, the plugin exchanges a short-lived one-time handoff with the broker. WordPress stores an opaque connection ID and connection token. The user’s Bluesky password is never entered into or stored by this WordPress plugin.
When the user checks the connection, publishes a post, publishes a test post, or disconnects, the plugin sends the stored connection ID and connection token to the Arrow Design broker. Publishing requests also send the generated Bluesky post text. For this free edition, no featured image is sent by the plugin.
The broker stores the Bluesky OAuth session material needed to perform authorised requests and uses it only to provide the connection and publishing functionality requested by the user.

The WordPress plugin code itself is licensed under GPLv2 or later. The external-service terms apply to use of the hosted broker service and do not replace or restrict the GPL rights granted with this plugin.
Bluesky
The Arrow Design broker communicates with Bluesky / the AT Protocol to authenticate the user’s Bluesky account and publish the content the user chooses to send. The generated post text is sent to Bluesky and, once published, is public according to the user’s Bluesky account and Bluesky’s service rules.

Installation
- Upload and activate Arrow Sky Publisher.
- Open BSky Publisher in WordPress admin.
- Open the Connection tab and enter your Bluesky handle.
- Complete the Bluesky OAuth authorisation.
- Open a published WordPress Post and use Send to Bluesky Now in the BSky Publisher box.

Does the plugin store my Bluesky password?

No. The plugin uses OAuth. Your Bluesky password is not entered into or stored by this WordPress plugin.

Can the same WordPress Post be sent twice accidentally?

The plugin records the Bluesky AT URI after a successful publication and prevents the same WordPress Post from being published again through this plugin.
